Client details - The name of the owner and details of the lot where the home will be constructed.
Outside water tap - External cold water tap for garden, watering or cleaning.
Portico or entrance - Raised entrance surrounding the front door, generally a focal point for the elevation.
Window - Glazed area on each room to allow sunlight and fresh air to enter.
Front door - Main entrance to the home.
Garage door - Sectional garage door.
Attached pier - Structural brick piers in the garage.
Cavity brick-work (double brick leaf) - External double brick structural walls of the home.
Walk in robe - A large walk in area designed to store clothing.
Tiled floor - A floor area that is designaed for tiling.
Shower - An area for showreing in the ensuite and bathroom. Generally framed glass.
Vanity - An essastone benchtop with cupboards, basin and large mirror.
Height and width of windows - Window sizes are detailed with the height in number of bricks first, by the width in bricks second.
Dimensions (the widths and lengths of all areas in the home) - The measurements of each area in the home, generally in millimetres.
Gas hot water unit - The water heating unit for the home, generally connected to the gas mains.
Internal wall (single brick leaf) - Single thickness internal brick wall.
Walk in pantry - A large walk in area designed for the storage of food and appliances.
Scullery with dishwasher recess and sink - A secondary food preparation and cleaning area linked to the kitchen. Often has a second sink.
Laundry - An area for a washing machine, linen copboard and sometimes a dryer.
Kitchen island bench with sink - An essastone benchtop with cupboards and a sink, design for food preparation and bar seating.
Kitchen bench with oven, cook top and overhead range hood - The main cooking area of a home, including an underbench oven, a gas cook-top and an extraction rangehood.
Bulkhead - An area of lower ceiling, conceiling structural elements of the roof or as a feature in a room.
Sliding door - A glazed door that opens by sliding on a track.
Bath - A large acrylic bathtub, generally built in and surrounded by tiles.
Flumed vent (exhaust fan) - An exhaust fan to extract air from a room, generally in a toilet, bathroom or laundry.
Linen cupboard - A large cupboard to store linen, cleaning and other general items.
Toilet - A ceremic close coupled toilet.
Covered outdoor living area - The alfresco is a covered outdoor area generally under the main roof line, designed to be connected to the living area.
Shelf and rail in ‘walk in robe’ - The standard installatoin in a robe, a rail to hang clothes on with a rail above for storage.
Eave line (extent of the roof) - The area that the roof line extends past the external brick wall. Generally as a feature and energy efficiency element.
Brick pier (connects to roof) - The brick built pier that supports the roof in the outdoor alfresco area.
House areas specific to this plan - The square metres of each specific area in the home.
